Adams died from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Saqlawiyah, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve's II Marine Expeditionary Force Augmentation Command Element. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Adams was attached to 2nd Marine Division, II MEF (Forward). Died on October 15, 2005.

Lance Cpl. Brian E. Anderson, 26, of Durham, North Carolina.

Killed in a non-hostile accident west of An Nasiriyah, Iraq. Anderson was manning a .50 caliber rifle on top of a 7-ton truck when the vehicle passed under and apparently snagged low hanging power lines. He was assigned to the 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division. Died on April 2, 2003.

Anderson died from a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Karabilah, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on October 19, 2005.

Anderson died as result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on November 12, 2004.

CWO Andrew Todd Arnold, 30, of Spring, Texas.

Killed in a non-hostile accident with two other soldiers when a rocket-propelled grenade launcher they were firing for familiarization malfunctioned on a firing range near the city of Al Kut, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade. Died on April 22, 2003.

Killed in action during operations on the outskirts of An Nasiriyah on March 23, 2003. Chanawongse was assigned to 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division.

His vehicle was traveling beside a canal when the attack occurred and he was thrown from the vehicle into the water. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on October 21, 2005.

Comley died as a result of an explosion from a suicide, vehicle-borne, improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces near Al Amiriyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on August 6, 2005.

Staff Sgt. Abraham G. Twitchell, 28, of Yelm, Washington.

Twitchell died when the seven-ton truck he was riding in rolled over in a flash flood near Al Asad, Iraq. He was assigned to the Combat Service Support Group-1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on April 2, 2006.

Lance Cpl. Drew M. Uhles, 20, of DuQuoin, Illinois.

Uhles died from injuries received due to enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center. Died on September 15, 2004.

Lance Cpl. Adam J. Vanalstine, 21, of Superior, Wisconsin.

Vanalstine died from an improvised explosive device in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, his unit was attached to 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on February 25, 2006.

Lance Cpl. John J. Vangyzen IV, 21, of North Dighton, Massachusetts.

Lance Cpl. Juan C. Venegas, 21, of Simi Valley, California.

Venegas died as a result of a vehicle accident while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Venegas was attached to Regimental Combat Team 8, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on April 7, 2005.

Cpl. David M. Vicente, 25, of Methuen, Massachusetts.

Vicente died due to enemy action near Hit, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on March 19, 2004.

Lance Cpl. Christopher B. Wasser, 21, of Ottawa, Kansas.

Wasser died due to injuries received from enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on April 8, 2004.

Lance Cpl. Craig N. Watson, 21, of Union City, Michigan.

Watson died from an improvised explosive device outside Fallujah, Iraq. He was inside an abandoned flour factory being used as a patrol base when the IED detonated. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, his unit was attached to the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on December 1, 2005.

Sgt. Christian B. Williams, 27, of Winter Haven, Florida.

Williams died while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. Williams was assigned to 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force. Died on July 29, 2006.
