"Ltd McGlothlin was a Marine I will never forget. He knew his Marines and always lead them from the front. I served with him at 2/1 before being dismissed as the Logistics Chief for sheer incompetence. I regret my failings have caused the loss of Lt McGlothlon so many years ago. I remind myself every day and others around me of my failings to this man and many others. I cannot ask for forgiveness, but I do honor his sacrifice."
