"I was part of the aircrew that brought Christopher part of the way home for the last time. That was my first and only angel flight. My life was changed that night in June, 7 years ago. Although I didn't know him in life, I think about him often and his sacrifice keeps me pressing on. To the family, my kids will grow up knowing his name and the price he paid for their and my freedom. He will be remembered. To Christopher, may the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand. Semper Fi"

"We wanted to let Christopher's family know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. On Memorial Day at our church, First Baptist Church Orlando, a Memorial Service was held for Fallen Heroes. Everyone received a small flag with a fallen soldiers name on it, ours was Christopher's. We took a walk of remembrance and set out our flag, one to represent every soldier that lost their life during this war. It was a very emotional and humbling site to see all those flags and know they represented a life. We just wanted to let Christopher's family know that he is not forgotten. We're sorry we never got the chance to meet him, and we just wanted to thank the family of a brave man who sacrificed his life for our freedom. We will never forget.
We still have Christopher's flag and would love to send it your family along with pictures from that special day.
