"To the parents of Brandon Hardy, I did not know your son. I was just looking through the memorials, praying for your families. I HOPE you realize how truely heroic Brandon is. And that however this war is portrayed through our screwed up media, there are millions upon millions here praying for your families, and supporting their cause 100%. I truely believe the soilders who die fighting for freedom, in Arlington and elsewhere, are the greatest among us whom ever lived. And I hope that you find peace knowing that the endless love you taught your son, He showed us all. They have a higher place above us all in Heaven. And I believe that we can burden each others pain and sorrow through prayer, and I Pray that you find peace and Joy in your Soul knowing that YOU raised one of GODS GREATEST CHILDREN. Brandon's spirit lives through many of us who never knew him. Hold your head up high you did an Awesome Job. GOD BLESS and Peace BE With You."

"Before leaving for Iraq, Brandon was a visitor in our home, as a friend of my daughter and her boyfriend, one of Brandon's fellow Marines. What a smile that guy had on him! He could light up the room with it. To Brandon's friends, family, and fellow Marines, thank you for sharing Brandon with us. To Brandon's mom, you raised a true hero. God bless you"
