"My condolences to the family that raised such a wonderful man. As Stephen's platoon sergeant in Iraq, I was responsible for his well being and to ensure his skills and knowledge were used in accordance with what is best for the platoon. I deeply regret your loss and feel your pain for it is my loss as well. Every Marine in that platoon is my little brother and I am deeply hurt by his loss. I was also injured in a later incident and am in the States wiith my family while I recover from my wounds. Every man that gave an ounce of blood on that battlefield did so willingly for his brothers and will never be forgotten. Best wishes in dealing with the loss of Stephen and If anything I can do, please, contact me
