"It's crazy how long you have been gone Adam. It still feels like yesterday having you over our home while you hung out with Steven. You were a big brother to me Adam you made me laugh, you picked on me a few times and you defended lots of times. I want you to know that I will always remember you and I am so proud of the decisions you made to fight for our country. You will be forever missed. I am glad I was able to see you while you were on leave and I was able to hug you one last time. Rest in peace and continue watching over your mom."

"I went to school , played basketball at the YMCA, and worked at Blakes with Adam. He was one of the most dedicated people I have ever met. He had his heart set on being a Marine no matter what you tried to tell him he had a rebuttle for it. He went and served our country for all of the right reasons and I'm proud to have known such a great person. Your funny sense of humor and great personality is missed greatly everyday. You are a true hero Adam."

"Adam was one of the greatest people I met in high school. If i were having a bad day Adam would immediatley spot it and do hillarious things (some even upsetting the teacher haha) just to try and make me feel better because I was his friend. He actually helped me get my first job at a Seafood restaraunt, he would come to class everyday and tell me he had to go directly to the "fish maaakett" after school. maaannn!!! his time on this earth was far to short, Adam i miss you man thank you so much for everything you did for me -"

"To the dear Brooks family.
My son, L CPL Daniel Bell, served with your son in Iraq. I don't know how close they were as friends, but his death affected Daniel deeply. I have prayed for you and continue to pray for you in the loss of your dear son. Daniel was there when the Lord called your son home. He will never forget that. Your son will never be forgotten. After Daniel got back from Iraq, he got 2 more tattoos. One has a cross. Above it says "Christ died for your sins" at the bottom it says "Let me die for your freedom." To the right of the cross is a picture of a Marine in desert cammis. To the left it says:
"R.I.P. Hanson, Brooks, Gavriel, and Morgan. Your son will never be forgotten and I will continue to keep you in my heart. God bless you for raising such a wonderful, brave young man."
