"Dear Tenzin,
9 years have passed by and until now I still can't believe that you are gone, forever. Meeting you was fate and losing was unbearable. I can't say I miss you everyday but until now, time to time I miss you dearly. I cherish the time we spent together and it always lives vividly in my mind. I wish i saw you the night you came home before your deployment but i didn't it. It was valentine's day I still remembered. But I was too busy with other plans that I blew you off. I thought i would see you soon when you come back. Until this day I regretted every single moment. I hope the summer we spent together gave you strength and hope you are still smiling in heaven. I love you so much ! Thank you for all the sweetest memories together."

"I was in boot camp platoon 3105 with Tenzen. Actually the last month of training we were rack-mates. I vividly remember him being on firewatch with me, walking while all was quiet, holding prayer beads. I have numerous other memories, all of which are special to me. We also went to School of Infantry together and stayed together during liberty. Our paths finally diverged after SOI. He was a true friend and he was very brave. I am very, very sorry for your loss."
Ryan Sauriol of Wooster, Ohio

"May God keep you and lift you up. Your sacrifice is not unnoticed, here on this Earth, and certainly not in Heaven. Not everyone can be a Marine. Not every family can rear one. God needs us all, and the spirit of the Warrior will be called and trained to fight in that final battle. We needed him, and he answered our call. He now answers another call and is with many of his brothers in Heaven. I believe that along with Jesus, they pray and intercede for those of us left here and mourn. He has passed on to another duty. But I know this does not ease your loss. Lean on your faith and the love of the family you have next to you. It will finally make you all the stronger. I believe this with all my heart. Thank you for your sacrifice. I'm sorry for the pain and loss you feel and my deepest prayers are with you this very day."
