"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

"i miss you Marc.. take care up there.."

"Marc, I never knew you, but I heard much about you. A father who always believed in you. A brother who, although different in many ways, was a true twin in heart and in spirit. Sisters who adored you. We don't understand why you were chosen to go Home so soon, but we do know that our ways are not His ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts, and so we only must trust. Many grieve your passing, but only your family knows the heartache - and pride - that most of us cannot comprehend. Thank you, Marc, for your selfless gift and for your amazing spirit. May it be honored in truth and in peace. My heartfelt condolences to the Glimpses."

"Guy and Maryann and family, may the God of our fathers, the One who is Ancient of Days and has Kingdom plans far beyond our compression, come to your family and envelope you with His love and comfort. And know that I will never think or talk about this war as if it were some intellectual discussion about the merits or lack thereof. It has a face for me now. And not just Marcís face, but all your faces. You son is hero. And there are those who will remember it and deeply appreciate it."
