"I was Christopher's Platoon Sgt in Ar Ramadi the day the Good Lord saw fit to bring him to Heaven. Christopher was a quiet Marine, who I Never heard complain. He didn't need to be baby sat. He was a good friend to Marines that didn't fit in. For some of them he was their only friend. Even though his time on Earth was cut short I think he positively affected more people than we can count. I'm 100% sure he'll be there to great us one day at Heavens gates, keeping things Secure. To his family, friends, and loved ones of Chunky, Mississippi: You all raised one Outstanding Warrior Marine Hero. Thank you from the bottom of My heart. I'll always be proud to have served with him and I wish I could have brought him home to you safe."

"Hello Mabry Family, My name is Gabe Henderson. I served with your son in Iraq. He's a great Man. I and many Fellow Marines have started a tradition on Memorial day weekend, we from Golf 2/4 are going to our fallen brothers final resting place to pay our respects, and to remember them, and show them that we love them. This year we went and seen a Richard Quill III, last year, it was Todd Bolding from Houston TX. These brothers didnt make it home, so we are hopefully going to bring home to them. We had 35 fellow Marines show up to see Rich. Richard died, Feb 1st 2007, after seeing him and his family in Nashville TN. We drew your sons name to see next year. I want to thank you all so much for all of your support. If at all possible I would love for you all to give me a call at 619-341-2827 and again that is Gabe Henderson"

"THE FINAL INSPECTION
The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, you soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you soldier,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell.""
Sgt. Ross of Mississippi
"Merry Christmas From Heaven
I still hear the songs
I still see the lights
I still feel your love
on cold wintery nights
I still share your hopes
and all of your cares
I'll even remind you
to please say your prayers
I just want to tell you
you still make me proud
You stand head and shoulders
above all the crowd
Keep trying each moment
to stay in His grace
I came here before you
to help set your place
You don't have to be
perfect all of the time
He forgives you the slip
If you continue the climb
To my family and friends
please be thankful today
I'm still close beside you
In a new special way
I love you all dearly
now don't shed a tear
Cause I'm spending my
Christmas with Jesus this year"

"To the family of PFC Christopher Mabry,
I am deeply saddened to hear of PFC Mabry's passing, in my mind he has always been a true Marine. I met PFC Mabry in Boot Camp where we both trained in Platoon 2094. I felt fortunate to call him my friend. I was shocked when I heard the he had passed, but I was not suprised, PFC Mabry was never selfish and he was always giving more and more to the other recruits of his platoon. I lend mine and my wife's hand in any way we can possibly help you get through losing such a great man, and our condolences are forever with you."
