"15 years have past and I still sit here wishing and waiting for your call. We spoke daily even when time permitted when you were in Iraq. You were always 100% honest with me. I never met anyone like you. I truly miss our conversations. I thank you for the time we shared together, I'm glad we got to be kids together. love you!"

I remember how we laughed and when things got tough you were always there to pick me. I ask why YOU, why so young, and its something that i will never have answer to. But i thank you for everything you did for me and your sacrifice for everyones freedom and mine. The day you were layed to rest I cried so much, cuz i lost the one person who always was there for me. "I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

Sandoval-Flores I miss yoour happiness. Cuando estoy trizte o deprimido me trato de acordarme de ti para alegrarme el dia. Que dios te bendiga donde quiera que estes."

"To the Felipe Sandoval-Flores Family:
I had the pleasure of serving with your son, in fact, I checked him into Camp Pendleton when he joined the fleet and was his section manager at his maintenance shop. He was a great Marine and a true friend. I still remember that big smile and the way he would always make everyone laugh with his jokes. He was more than just one of my subordinates, he was one of my best friends. He had a great attitude that rubbed off on everyone he came in contact with. Rest assured he will never be forgotten. I thank you for raising such a great son, and for supporting his dream.I pray God's peace and His blessings upon your family and loved ones."

You are greatly missed on this earth, and seeing the pain your death has caused Vicky, my friend, your Girl, is hard but it's all worth it because now you can watch over her from Heaven... you told her you'd be with her in Australia and while physically you won't you'll be there in her heart.

"To the family and friends of our fallen hero Felipe Sandoval. It saddens my heart that Felipe didn't get to experience everything life has to offer. However, during the time that he was here his curious heart and gentle spirit touched many people who will never forget him. He was a fun loving guy who embraced everything life had to offer. I will personally continue to pray for him, his family, and friends, that God will grant them the strength to not dwell on his passing but cherish his memory."
