Acklin died when two 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters crashed in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 15, 2003.

Army Spc. Robert R. Arsiaga, 25, of Midland, Texas.

Arsiaga died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his unit was attacked with rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 4, 2004.

Army Spc. David J. Babineau, 25, of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Babineau died in Baghdad, Iraq, when the checkpoint he was manning came under enemy small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on June 16, 2006.

Marine Sgt. Douglas E. Bascom, 25, of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Bascom died as result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Bascom, a member of the Individual Ready Reserves, was mobilized and assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on October 20, 2004.

Bass died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his unit came under direct fire during combat operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 23, 2005.

Bennett died following a non-hostile helicopter accident near Al Taqaddum, Iraq, on May 27, 2006. He was assigned to Marine Light/Attack Helicopter Squadron-169, Marine Aircraft Group-39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on May 30, 2006.

Army Spc. Bradley J. Bergeron, 25, of Houma, Louisiana.

Bergeron died in Baghdad, Iraq when an improvised explosive device struck his Bradley fighting vehicle. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized), Lafayette, Louisiana. Died on January 6, 2005.

Bibby was in a convoy to a water treatment facility when an improvised explosive device exploded in Baghdad, Iraq. Bibby was assigned to Headquarters, Headquarters Detachment, 422 Civil Affairs Battalion, Greensboro, North Carolina. Died on July 21, 2003.

Army Sgt. Joseph A. Blanco, 25, of Bloomington, California.

Blanco died of injuries sustained in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Bradley Fighting Vehicle and subsequently came under small arms fire during combat operations. He was assigned to the 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 11, 2006.

Marine Cpl. Jeffrey A. Boskovitch, 25, of North Royalton, Ohio.

Boskovitch died as a result of enemy small-arms fire while conducting dismounted operations outside Haditha, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve's 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Brookpark, Ohio. As part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, all were attached to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). Died on August 1, 2005.

Bowling died as a result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on November 11, 2004.

Cabralbanuelos died when his vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device during convoy operations in Kirkuk, Iraq. He was assigned to Company A, 4th Forward Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Division (Mech), Fort Hood, Texas. Died on January 31, 2004.

Camposiles died in Samarra, Iraq, when he was electrocuted while performing routine generator maintenance. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany. Died on April 17, 2004.

Carlock died of injuries sustained when his fuel truck was attacked by the enemy northwest of Baghdad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 416th Transportation Company, 260th Quartermaster Battalion (Petroleum Support), Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Died on September 9, 2003.

Carlson died in Taqqadum, Iraq, from a non-combat related cause. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 228th Forward Support Battalion, 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Division, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Died on March 25, 2006.

Carrasquillo died in Baghdad, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 76th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on August 9, 2005.

Chance died in Husaybah, Iraq of injuries sustained when his vehicle struck a landmine. He was assigned to C Company, 890th Engineer Battalion, Army National Guard, based in Columbia, Mississippi. Died on November 6, 2003.

Army Spc. Andrew F. Chris, 25, of Huntsville, Alabama.

Chris was fatally wounded in Iraq in combat operations in hostile enemy territory. Chris was assigned to Company B, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia. Died on June 25, 2003.

Marine Sgt. David R. Christoff, 25, of Rossford, Ohio.

Christoff died from wounds received while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Died on May 22, 2006.

Marine Lance Cpl. Michael J. Cifuentes, 25, of Fairfield, Ohio.

Cifuentes died when his Amphibious Assault Vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device during combat operations south of Haditha, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Force Reserve's 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Columbus, Ohio. As part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he was attached to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). Died on August 3, 2005.

Army Sgt. Dominic R. Coles, 25, of Jesup, Georgia.

Coles died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his HMMWV came under attack during combat operations by enemy forces using small arms fire, rocket-propelled grenades and mortars. He was assigned to the 5th Engineer Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Died on December 26, 2005.

Fox died due to enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Died on October 30, 2004.

Army Pfc. Alva L. Gaylord, 25, of Carrollton, Missouri.

Gaylord died of injuries sustained in Qasr Ar Riyy, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his RG-31 Mine Protected Vehicle during a combat clearing operation. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 110th Engineer Battalion, Kansas City, Missouri. Died on May 5, 2006.

Army Spc. Michael T. Gleason, 25, of Warren, Pennsylvania.

Spc. Gleason was traveling in a three-vehicle convoy during a storm from Mosul to Tikrit (2 HUMMVs, 1 light medium tactical vehicle). A civilian vehicle dodged a pothole causing the HUMMVs to swerve. There was not enough stopping distance between the vehicles causing the LMTV to swerve off the road and turn over, causing the death of Gleason and two other soldiers. He was assigned to the 519th Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on May 30, 2003.

Marine Cpl. Armando Ariel Gonzalez, 25, of Hialeah, Florida.

Killed in a non-hostile accident when a commercial refueler collapsed at Logistics Supply Area Viper in southern Iraq. Gonzalez was assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS)-273, Marine Wing Support Group (MWSG)-27, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina. Died on April 14, 2003.

Marine Sgt. James R. Graham III, 25, of Coweta, Oklahoma.

Graham died as a result of a vehicle-born improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations near Hit, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Reserve's 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. As part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Graham's unit was attached to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). Died on August 1, 2005.

Army Capt. James M. Gurbisz, 25, of Eatontown, New Jersey.

Gurbisz died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during convoy operations. He was assigned to the 26th Forward Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Died on November 4, 2005.

Died of Wounds received in action. On April 19, Sgt. Jenkins was on a dismounted patrol with other soldiers when he was injured as result of an explosion. He was assigned to B Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on April 24, 2003.

Palmisano died when the seven-ton truck he was riding in rolled over in a flash flood near Al Asad, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Transportation Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 2, 2006.

Army Spc. Jarrett B. Thompson, 27, of Dover, Delaware.

Thompson was in a convoy on August 30 when a civilian vehicle passed the convoy and cut in front of the lead military vehicle and an approaching Iraqi truck. The driver of the civilian vehicle hit Thompson's truck. Thompson was medically evacuated to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where he later died of his injuries. Thompson was assigned to the 946th Transportation Company, U.S. Army Reserve, Lewes, Delaware. Died on September 7, 2003.

Marine Sgt. Daniel A. Tsue, 27, of Honolulu, Hawaii.

Tsue died from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations in the vicinity of Ar Ramadi, Iraq. Died when his CH-46 Sea-Knight helicopter went down in the Shatt Al Hillah Canal in Iraq shortly after take-off. The helicopter was conducting a resupply mission in support of civil military operations. Argel died in the crash of an Iraqi air force aircraft during a training mission in eastern Diyala province. He was assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Florida. Died on May 30, 2005.

August was killed in an improvised explosive device attack in Khalidiyah, just east of Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He was assigned to Company B, 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division (Mech), Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on January 27, 2004.

Bader was on board a CH-47 Chinook Helicopter when it went down in Al Fallujah, Iraq. The cause of the incident is unknown and an investigation is underway. Bader was assigned to Air Defense Artillery Battery, 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on November 2, 2003.

Bellavia and other soldiers were attempting to negotiate with armed men who were congregating after curfew on a road near a mosque in Karbala, Iraq. The Iraqis opened fire killing three soldiers and wounding seven others. He was assigned to the 716th Military Police Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on October 16, 2003.

Blanco was conducting a support mission when an improvised explosive device hit his vehicle in Qaryat Ash Shababi, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on December 28, 2003.

Huey died in Habbaniyah, Iraq, when his unit was on patrol and a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Greaves, Korea. Died on November 11, 2004.

Marine Staff Sgt. Kendall H. Ivy II, 28, of Crawford, Ohio.

Ivy was killed from an explosion while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Karabilah, Iraq. He was assigned to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on May 11, 2005.

Jackson died near Al Sukar, Iraq, when his OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter came under attack by enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York. Died on January 13, 2006.

Army Capt. Benjamin D. Jansky, 28, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Jansky died in Al Taqaddum, Iraq, when his HMMWV was accidentally struck by another military vehicle. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 983rd Engineer Battalion, Monclova, Ohio. Died on July 27, 2005.

Marine Sgt. Jonathan W. Lambert, 28, of Newsite, Mississippi.

Lambert died at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, as a result of injuries he suffered when his HMMWV rolled over on May 26 in Iraq. He was assigned to the Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on June 1, 2003.

Marine 2nd Lt. Ryan Leduc, 28, of Pana, Illinois.

Leduc died as result of a non-combat vehicle accident in Rutbah, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on September 24, 2004.

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Marc A. Lee, 28, of Hood River, Oregon.

Lee died during combat operations while on patrol in Ramadi, Iraq. Lee was an aviation ordnanceman and a member of a West Coast-based SEAL Team. Died on August 2, 2006.

Marine Cpl. Douglas Jose Marencoreyes, 28, of Chino, California.

Died when the large transport truck he was driving rolled over approximately 30 km southeast of Al Samawah, Iraq. Marencoreyes was a reservist assigned to the 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Headquarters and Service Company, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on May 18, 2003.

Army Sgt. Francisco Martinez, 28, of Humacao, Puerto Rico.

Martinez was in a convoy in Baghdad, Iraq when an improvised explosive device exploded. He was assigned to B Detachment, 82nd Soldier Support Battalion (Airborne), Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on November 4, 2003.

Marine Sgt. Michael A. Marzano, 28, of Greenville, Pennsylvania.

Marzano died as the result of an explosion caused by a suicide vehicle borne improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations in Hadithah, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Force Reserve's 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Phoenix, Arizona. As part of Operation Iraqi Freedom his unit was attached to 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). Died on May 7, 2005.

Air Force Staff Sgt. Brian McElroy, 28, of San Antonio, Texas.

McElroy died when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device while conducting convoy escort duties in the vicinity of Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Security Forces Squadron, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. Died on January 22, 2006.

Army Spc. Jeremy W. McHalffey, 28, of Mabelvale, Arkansas.

McHalffey died in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive devise detonated near his military vehicle. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 39th Infantry Brigade, Little Rock, Arkansas. Died on January 4, 2005.

Army 1st Lt. Adam G. Mooney, 28, of Cambridge, Maryland.

Mooney was listed as duty status unknown on January 25, 2004 in Mosul, Iraq, when his helicopter went down in the Tigris River during a search for a missing soldier. His remains were recovered on February 14, 2003. Mooney was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation (Fort Drum), however, in support of mission requirements, he was attached to 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York.

Army Spc. Jaime Moreno, 28, of Round Lake Beach, Illinois.

Moreno died of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol vehicle on October 12, 2004. He was assigned to 20th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on October 13, 2004.

Army Sgt. Rodney A. Murray, 28, of Ayden, North Carolina.

Murray died in a vehicle accident between Baghdad and Scania, Iraq when a Bradley Fighting Vehicle and his military vehicle collided. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 351st Military Police Company, Ocala, Florida. Died on May 9, 2004.

Army Sgt. Julio E. Negron, 28, of Pompano Beach, Florida.

Negron died from injuries sustained in a military vehicle accident in Bayji, Iraq. He was assigned to 360th Transportation Company, 68th Corps Support Battalion, 43rd Area Support Group, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on February 28, 2005.

Army Spc. Brian H. Penisten, 28, of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Penisten was on board a CH-47 Chinook Helicopter when it went down in Al Fallujah, Iraq. The cause of the incident is unknown and an investigation is underway. Penisten was assigned to Air Defense Artillery Battery, 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on November 2, 2003.

Army Staff Sgt. Erickson H. Petty, 28, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.

Hazelgrove died when his OH-58 Kiowa Warrior helicopter crashed on its way back from a combat mission near Mosul in northern Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 10th Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, New York. Died on January 23, 2004.

Jaenke died as a result of enemy action when her HMMWV was struck by an improvised explosive device in Al Anbar province, Iraq. She was assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 25, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Died on June 5, 2006.

Army Capt. Christopher B. Johnson, 29, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

Johnson died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his OH-58D helicopter apparently collided with another OH-58D helicopter and crashed. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 25th Aviation, 25th Infantry Division (Light), Wheeler Army Air Field, Hawaii. Died on October 16, 2004.

Army Staff Sgt. Paul J. Johnson, 29, of Calumet, Michigan.

Johnson was on a mounted patrol in Al Fallujah, Iraq when the vehicle he was riding in hit an improvised explosive device and later came under small arms fire by enemy forces. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died on October 20, 2003.

Army CWO Erik C. Kesterson, 29, of Independence, Oregon.

Kesterson died when two 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters crashed in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 9th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on November 15, 2003.

Army Spc. Eric D. King, 29, of Vancouver, Washington.

King died of injuries sustained during combat operations in Baghad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV causing a fire. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 67th Armored Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 22, 2006.

Army Staff Sgt. William T. Latham, 29, of Kingman, Arizona.

Latham was participating in a raid at a suspected arms market in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, on May 19 when he was hit with shrapnel. Latham was evacuated back to the United States where he died of his wounds at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington, D.C. He was assigned to Troop E, 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on June 18, 2003.

Army Sgt. Jason Lopez-Reyes, 29, of Hatillo, Puerto Rico.

Marine Sgt. Andy A. Stevens, 29, of Tomah, Wisconsin.

Stevens died from an improvised explosive device outside Fallujah, Iraq. He was inside an abandoned flour factory being used as a patrol base when the IED detonated. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, his unit was attached to the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, California. Died on December 1, 2005.

Velazquez was onboard a CH-47 Chinook helicopter when it made a crash landing in Al Fallujah, Iraq. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and an investigation is underway. Velazquez was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, III Corps Artillery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Died on November 2, 2003.

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on April 22, 2003.

Marine Staff Sgt. Jimmy J. Arroyave, 30, of Woodland, California.

Arroyave died due to a non-combat related vehicle accident northeast of Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He was assigned to Combat Service Support Battalion 1, Combat Service Support Group 11, 1st Force Service Support Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 15, 2004.

Colgan was responding to a RPG attack when he was struck with an improvised explosive device. Colgan was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Giessen, Germany. Died on November 1, 2003.

Army Spc. Jeffrey W. Corban, 30, of Elkhart, Indiana.

Corban died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near his M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Georgia. Died on October 15, 2005.

Marine Staff Sgt. Ramon E. Gonzales Cordova, 30, of Davie, Florida.

Gonzales Cordova died as a result of enemy small-arms fire while conducting combat operations in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Army Staff Sgt. Christopher E. Cutchall, 30, of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania.

Cutchall was traveling in a convoy west of Baghdad, Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated as his vehicle passed by. He died of injuries sustained in the incident. Cutchall was assigned to Delta Troop, 4th Cavalry, Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on September 29, 2003.

Air Force Capt. Eric B. Das, 30, of Amarillo, Texas.

Das was the pilot of an F-15E that went down during a combat mission in Iraq. He was assigned to the 333rd Fighter Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. Died on April 7, 2003.

Army Capt. Douglas A. Dicenzo, 30, of Plymouth, New Hampshire.

Dicenzo died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during combat operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry, 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany. Died on May 25, 2006.

Army Capt. Phillip T. Esposito, 30, of Suffern, New York.

Esposito died of injuries sustained on June 7, 2005 in Tikrit, Iraq, when an explosion of unknown origin occurred near his location. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 42nd Infantry Division, Troy, New York. Died on June 8, 2005.

Army Spc. Jon P. Fettig, 30, of Dickinson, North Dakota.

Fettig was killed when the Heavy Expanded-Mobility Tactical Truck he was in on the outside of Ar Ramadi, Iraq was hit by a rocket propelled grenade. Fettig was assigned to the 957th Engineer Company (V Corps), Bismarck, North Dakota. Died on July 22, 2003.

Marine Gunnery Sgt. Elia P. Fontecchio, 30, of Milford, Massachusetts.

Fontecchio died from injuries received from enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. Died on August 4, 2004.

Marine Capt. Travis A. Ford, 30, of Oceanside, California.

Killed in action when his AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter crashed during combat operations near Ali-Ariziyal, Iraq. Assigned to the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) - 267, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on April 4, 2003.

Army Sgt. Donald D. Furman, 30, of Burton, South Carolina.

Furman died in Balad, Iraq when his military vehicle collided with a civilian vehicle and overturned. He was assigned to the 24th Transportation Company, 541st Maintenance Battalion, Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on October 12, 2005.

Marine Capt. Kelly C. Hinz, 30, of Woodbury, Minnesota.

Hinz died from injuries received when the F/A-18 Hornet aircraft he was piloting crashed in Iraq while flying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was assigned to Fighter Attack Squadron 323, Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California. His unit was embarked aboard the U.S.S. Carl Vinson. Karpowich died in Mosul, Iraq, when a suicide bomber entered his dining facility and detonated an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the Army Reserve's 2nd Battalion, 390th Infantry Regiment, Webster, New York. Died on December 21, 2004.

Parson was conducting a raid on a house in Baghdad, Iraq when he was shot and killed. Parson was assigned to the 1-37th Armored Battalion, 1st Armored Division, Friedburg, Germany. Died on July 6, 2003.

Marine Sgt. Christopher S. Perez, 30, of Hutchinson, Kansas.

Perez died from wounds received as a result of an indirect fire attack while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Ramadi, Iraq. He was assigned to Headquarters and Service Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on May 23, 2005.

Army Staff Sgt. Brett J. Petriken, 30, of Michigan.

Petriken and Pvt. Kenneth A. Nalley were escorting a convoy in a HMMWV when a heavy equipment transporter crossed the median and struck their vehicle in As Samawah, Iraq. Both soldiers were assigned to the 501st Military Police Company, Wiesbaden, Germany. Died on May 26, 2003.

Army Capt. Dennis L. Pintor, 30, of Lima, Ohio.

Pintor died when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol vehicle. He was assigned to 20th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on October 12, 2004.

Marine Staff Sgt. Raymond J. Plouhar, 30, of Lake Orion, Michigan.

Plouhar died from wounds received while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on June 26, 2006.

Army Staff Sgt. Andrew R. Pokorny, 30, of Naperville, Illinois.

On the way back from patrol, Pokorny's M113 armored personnel carrier threw a track causing the vehicle to roll over in Al Asad, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Air Defense Artillery, 3rd Armor Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on June 13, 2003.

Marine Staff Sgt. William Douglas Richardson, 30, of Houston, Texas.

Richardson died of wounds sustained from a non-hostile vehicle accident near Al Taqaddum, Iraq. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, his unit was attached to 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward). He was assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron-372, Marine Wing Support Group-37, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on November 30, 2005.

Army Sgt. Kenneth L. Ridgley, 30, of Olney, Illinois.

Ridgley died in Mosul, Iraq, of injuries sustained when enemy forces using small arms fire attacked his unit. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Washington. Died on March 30, 2005.

Army Sgt. Scott C. Rose, 30, of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Died when his CH-46 Sea-Knight helicopter went down in the Shatt Al Hillah Canal in Iraq shortly after take-off. The helicopter was conducting a resupply mission in support of civil military operations. He was assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron - 364, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on May 19, 2003.

Army Staff Sgt. Rickey Scott, 30, of Columbus, Georgia.

Scott died in Al Huwijah, Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during patrol operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died on January 20, 2006.

Wilkerson died in Baghdad, Iraq, when an unknown ordnance detonated near his tent. He was assigned to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado. Died on May 22, 2005.
