"I am doing a Goruck 9/11 Memorial Event in Washington D.C. next week and we were assigned to honor a service member that paid the ultimate sacrifice in response to 9/11. As I searched, I came across photos of Travis and chose him. Maybe because he worked as a medic and was a father and husband, as I am nurse, wife and a mother. Seeing photos of Travis, his wife and children really reminds me how important it is to remember and honor those that have died for our freedom.
