"I wear a bracelet with your sons name on it. My son Christopher f. Bonnet wore it when he was alive. I just buried him to suicide in October 2013, diagnosed with PTSD. They served together as an army specialist. If you would like this bracelet it would be a pleasure for me to pass it along to you. Thank you Andrew and Chris for your service."

"Andrew,
I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

The Ranger Creed
Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of my Ranger Regiment.

Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move farther, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be. One-hundred-percent and then some.

Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow.

Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarass my country.

Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be the lone survivor.

RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!"

"To all of those who ordered a Fallen Hero Bracelet, and have honored SPC Chris, he met the true measure of a man, and I feel lucky to have known him."

"Prior to my deploying from Ft. Bennning to Kosovo, I went to Ranger Joe to get some additional gear. I noticed one of the racks had bracelets of soldiers who had died in combat. Just looking through all the names, I came across Andrew's name and the date and location of his death. I began to remember that I was location w/ my FST on the west side of Baghdad on that date. To make it even more memorible, my birthdate was a few days earlier and my wedding anniversity was on that date. So...I purchased the bracelet and Andrew will be with me on this and any other mission I go on. It is important to remember our fallen brothers and pray for the rest to come home safely."
LTC Charles K. Persinger of Conneautville, PA

"This message is not only for CPL Andrew F. Chris, but for the many fallen soldiers that have taken one for our country. God Bless You All each and every one.

I received at KIA braclet earlier this week, the name on it read Andrew F. Chris, I thought of going online to learn about the person's name that is now around my wrist. I did, and learned a lot about him that he was a true soldier and died for what he believed in.

I am a freshman at Norwich University, each day I think about commissioing and becoming a 2LT in the US Army. Our great nation needs a lot more great leaders to lead our military in the fight aganist freedom.

"In Loving Memory..Its been a year..

At the rising of the sun and at its going down, We remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of Winter, We remember them.
At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of Spring, We remember them.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of Summer, We remember them.
At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn, We remember them.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends, We remember them.
As long as we live, they too will live;
for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.
Rest in Peace Dear Soldier!! We will NEVER FORGET!"

"To the family of Spc. Andrew Chris,
My heart goes out to you for your loss. Even though I did not know Spc. Chris he will always be a part of our lives. My husband and his squad was the first to arrive at the scene in Baghdad, they did their best to help the soldiers and drove them to BYOP for medical attention. My husband called me that day and told me what happened and we cried and prayed together for Andrew. I think of him and his family often - he is a Hero.
