"SPC Dimaranan was an excellent Soldier and I was most proud to have served with him. I was equally as proud to be the one that went to Dover AFB to bring him home to his family. I was also proud to be in the funeral detail that gave him his 21 Gun Salute. For those that have never experienced a Military Funeral, believe me even if you are the hardest Soldier in the world you will shed a tear for one of your own. I will never forget that ride from Dover to Virginia Beach on that hot summer day nor do I ever want to forget that day for it is the day I lost a brother and a friend. God rest your soul Jeremy M. Dimaranan, SPC, USAR your duty has been done."
SFC Danny Frederick USA, (RET) of Seminole, Al, USA
