"I come from Australia and read his story and being related to the Geer/es
and the far flung families worldwide I felt that pain. He is in our hearts.God bless him and his family for selfless devotion to his country and to all mankind. " Greater love hath no man....C.H."

"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

A hundred times a day, I remind myself that my inner and outer life depends on the labors of other men, living and dead, and I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am receiving. - Albert Einstein"

"You know the world is a small place... I think you were right.

You wanted to go back to Laughlin to see someone after we came home which is weird because haha, I might be moving there and all due to family and what not and live about an hour away from there when you lived in Colorado. Maybe its just a coincidence I dont know... Im glad you didnt tell me anymore because I hate this coincidental crap. I still remember what you told me though about if you ever had a son... of all people why did you tell me??? Why not Ruiz or Harden???

Its kinda weird, and I still wont know what was up with us and all and competition in Iraq "Finest of the Fittest"??? I dont know. Last time I really remember talking to you was before all of this happened and me and you were laying in a fox hole shooting the M14 at the bern at Corregidor and you were trying to out do me in shooting. I ran out of ammo, I think it was Special ball ammo, so I used the rounds I stole from Harden to the 240 and put it in the M14, and it was kicking weird... so I was cocking it back everytime I shot a round because it didnt look like it was ejecting the round haha... and you and Garacia just kinda started laughing and you shook your head at me like I dont know, you gave me that look. But you got to admit, if you can notice the kick in the rifle between the ammo... thats pretty good!!!

I remember one mission, I cant remember where we were at. But we were doing drills jumping off the humvees and all. And you fell into a water pit neck deep... hahaha. Or the arguments we use to get in during gun fights haha. I miss it. And people wonder how we do it.

It doesnt matter... in any competition you won. I admit it. I think you made it look better than I did and others saw that too.

See when I see you bro.

"SPC Geer was a great person and soldier. He was always full of light even on the hardest days in Iraq. I will never forget the 1st thing I was able to teach SPC Geer, It was my 1st day in Cco 1st 503d, and he asked me how to disassemble an M249. He will always be in my thoughts. I will never forget what a great man he was. Take care god bless! "1st Rock""

""I don’t believe that we understand all that you gave, or how your sacrifice will affect the future for our sons or daughters. I believe you confronted the evil that has enslaved mankind throughout history, the same evil that many American soldiers have confronted in many battles.

I will teach my son and daughter of your sacrifice and your heroism.
