"SGT Peralez Johnny , B 3/16 Field Artillery , Fort Hood Texas will never forget our fallen heroes . We will always remember you . Just like everyone else we thought it was a rumor but when we realized it was true all I could think about was all of us playing dominoes in Killeen Tx right before deployment. You will always be remembered Johnny . You were and will always be one of our best medics and combat life saver. My condolences go out to the Peralez family may God comfort you and be with you always. Johnny a great man , soldier , and leader never to be forgotten."
SPC Axel Barrientos of Killeen ,Ft Hood Texas

"I hope this reaches you well, I have written in the past. I just wanted to send a note to say that I have never stopped wearing my bracelet with Johnny's name on it and it remains an honor to do so. Even though I didn't know him personally, his CO told me a lot about him and what an incredible person he was. Thank you for allowing me to carry on his legacy of honor and sacrifice."

"I didnt know Johnny personally, but I remembered seeing him at school, always with a cheerful attitude and warm smile. I was so proud of him when I heard he joined the army, it was an honor having him as a fellow comrade.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for his sacrifice. He will never be forgotten. My prayers are with the family."
Staff Sergeant Aynsley, Crissy of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo

"I asked my friend, Captain Brian Covert, if I could have the honor of wearing a Hero Bracelet of one of his troops and without thinking, he mentioned Johnny. Brian told me many stories of him and the dedication he put into his career and to others. He told me a story of how Johnny was training other soldiers on suturing wounds, and to make sure they were totally proficient and trained, he cut himself multiple times and allowed the soldiers to practice on him. It is my true honor to wear his name on my wrist and never will it leave it. I am truly proud to have learned of Johnny and his story and will continue to tell it to others."
Michael Einstein of FOB Sharana, Afghanistan

"Johnny & Me went to school together, I remember him always playing tennis & him acting in theater arts, we shared that class together, & I will always cherish the memories of Johnny, especially when he had his long hair, I never figured Johnny to join the army, I always saw him goin to Broadway or become an actor, but I am very proud of him for joining the army & becoming a Sgt. He will truely be missed from all of us,and his family. On Veterns Day it was an honor to spend it with his mom & his grandparents, but it was very emotional, we had a moment of silence for him & we released red, white, & blue ballons for him & the other fallen heroes, *ANGELS IN CAMOUFLAGE* We Will Miss Johnny Dearly, but We Will Forever Cherish his memories.
