Army Pfc. Robert J. Settle
25, of Owensboro, Kentucky.
Settle died in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 66th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 19, 2006.

"I happened upon this by accident. My father's name was Robert E. Settle. He was fortunate enough to survive WWII and Korea,and died at age 71, but I miss him every day. Though I didnt know Robert J., I feel saddened at the loss of such a young Robert Settle. If yours was as wonderful a person as ours, I'm certain he is sorely missed. God bless your family."
