He truly cared for us all. I will miss all of the great times we had. Too many memories come to mind, from 4 wheelin at the lake, to the 2nd PLT "Misfits" nights out on the town. "I served with Chris in B Company 1/327th Infantry at Fort Campbell from 2000 to 2001. He was a hysterically funny guy. His loss is truly a tragedy. I was shocked when I heard of it. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends for their loss. I will always remember his smiling face and the smiles he put on others' faces with some wisecrack he came up with. His name is one of the few that stuck with me when I left Campbell. Chris had lots of friends in the unit and was well thought of by all. God bless the Schornak family. And thank you and Chris for his service and sacrifice.
