"Although I did not know John Boy long and only have a few memories of him, it felt like a lifetime. He always had a smile on his face and always made everyone smile. The first time I met him he embarrassed me, but he made me smile. I could tell that he was a great guy, son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and friend. He was a blast to be around and fun to go fishing with. I just wanted to tell his family and friends that I am sorry for thier great loss. I know he his deeply missed and a hero to everyone who knew him. I am greatful for the few memories that I have of him and fortunate for the honor of knowing him. He is truly a HERO!!!"
