"I had the honor of meeting James and becoming a good friend of his at PLDC in Germany, while we were both in the 1ID. I'll never forget the day we beat two other guys in a game of Spades, because they talked so much trash! James and I didn't say a word until we took the last of all 13 books and then we let them have it! James' smile and humor lit up every room he stepped into. I wear your name on my wrist everyday. Thank you for your service and sacrifice! I miss you bro"

"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry at times. I understand, in theory only, that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take your families and friends pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

A hundred times a day, I remind myself that my inner and outer life depends on the labors of other men, living and dead, and I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am receiving. - Albert Einstein"

"As I prayed for you today
I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today,
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way...
His love is always with you
His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our faith
He's sure to see us through.
So when the road you're traveling on
Seems difficult at best...
Just remember I'm here praying
And God will do the rest.
We are never prepared for the loss of a loved one,
But God is always prepared to help us through that loss.
May his presence begin the healing in your heart and soul,
And may His love surround you with the comfort only He can give.
Gone but never forgotten.
