"It has taken me this long to acknowledge this tragedy. If I didn't speak it, it couldn't be true. I met Kyle at Oklahoma Christian University. Our first date was Valentine's Day, 2001. We were together for one year and he still was a good friend to me after we parted ways. That year was filled with fun and life and dancing and music....even to this very day, he still feels near by. He will always be here, in all of our hearts. How could someone so full of life ever really fade away? I'm so sorry to his family. Kyle radiated life and I know you must be so proud of him."

"Kyle I will always be grateful for our friendship. You always made life funny. You and your father worked daily on your pitching skills. The nights we would meet down at the corner of our neighborhood street and just lay back and talk about what all is out there in the stars that filled the summer sky. Yeah we'd be deep in conversation about some far away lifeform and then over the hill car lights would appear and we would run like kids do laughing and yelling or hideing and watching where the car went. Kyle thank you for all you have done I know in my heart that you are a guardian angel to me. I will always have you close to me in my travels."

"I met SGT Seitsigner during training at Ft. Dix, NJ. He invited me to go with him and some friends from the Civil Affairs class to New York City for a Yankee game. That day turned out to be one of the most memorable days in my life because I'm pretty sure I laughed the whole time. SGT Seitsinger's sense of humor and magnetic personality really made things fun. I was deeply saddened and shocked to see his name name among the fallen. It is an honor to have known SGT Seitsinger. I wish to express my consolences to his family. I consider him a hero and will remember him always. SGT Danton K. Seitsinger, friend, soldier, hero. God Bless."

"Kyle was one of my great friends from middle school We met and became friends when we were about 14 or 15 years old. When Kyle went to Military School we wrote often and even though he wasn't here during the school year he was always very present when he came in town. When I got married in 2001 Kyle came to our wedding. I hadn't seen him since then until December 27th. My husband, step son and I were walking into I-Hop and there was Kyle, walking in as well. He gave me one of his great hugs, as always, and told us how he was leaving, that next Monday I believe, for training and then he was on to Afghanistan. I am so thankful that I saw Kyle that day. I am so thankful for his service to our Country and the friendship we shared. He will be missed forever."

"To the family and friends of Shawn Clemens,
We can only but pray that we will have the pleasure of meeting such a wonderful soldier as Shawn in that golden city. He along with our son Justin Scott and six other soldiers paid the ultimate price for our freedom and the freedom even of those who do not realize this. These men are now soldiers of a higher commander. They are now waiting for us to get ourselves right so that someday we’ll be together again. Than shall we know how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together.
All our love and prayers to the family and friends of this wonderful brave soldier, your son, our soldier. Please feel free to contact us at blscott@fuse.net"
