A twenty-two year-old episode of 7th Heaven led me here. I was a child twenty-two years ago. In the passed time, I’ve forgotten the sacrifices of Staff Sergeant Morgan and others like him. I’d forgotten to be grateful. Today I’m so grateful to be reminded of that price that so many others paid.

I have been a fan of the show 7th Heaven for quite sometime now. I just got through watching the episode The Known Soldier & it really made me think. It also made me feel sad, though I am very grateful. I'm sad because you can't be here with your family and friends, though I know you're watching over them. Though i'm also sad because everyone sacrificing and serving our country who had died can't be with their family and friends either. Of course I know that they're watching over them too. I'm grateful because we all live in a country that gives us freedom. We live in a world with a lot of hatred though. People discriminating, violence, drugs, alcohol, sexual abuse......just any and everything. Not everyone is like that though, there are good people out there somewhere. I know that i'm probably just rambling on and I may not be getting to the point, but I just wanted to say Thanks. Thanks for everything you have done for your family, friends and us. Thanks to you and every man and woman who has served our country. Who was.....still is a Hero to us all. My grandpa was in World War 2. Maybe if you see him, you can tell him we all said hi and that we think of him. That we miss him. He didn't die in the war though. He actually got out later on and died when I was in the 9th grade. I really do miss him and.....well believe it or not I never got to thank him for serving our country. So to my grandpa, Thanks. Thank you for everything you have done and for being the brave soldier that you were. I couldn't keep myself from crying while watching the show, and I myself used to write to one of the soldiers in action. I didn't recieve more than a few letters when they stopped coming, and it's been over 6 months since my last letter. The family and friends of SGT. Staff Dwight J.
