"Shamus,
You and your crew went to the sounds of the guns to help your fellow warriors. Never asking why, you just do it because thats what we do. Most people will never hear the sounds of a battle or understand the bond that we share with or fellow warriors, our brothers- in-arms. In your short time with us you where always there and you did it the right way, as a man and as a soldier. It was a Honnor to serve with you and to be able to call you my friend."

"You are our hero. The quietest kid in the class, but yet you were the first to sign up for military service. While the rest of us were off finding ourselves in college, you were shipped out overseas providing us the freedom to find our calling.
And now you have gone ahead of us once again, drag racing into God's kingdom.
While others call you hero - and rightfully so - I am proud to have called you my friend and confidant."
Toby Boyce, Class of 1994 of Danville, Ohio
