"God bless our service members.
Let us recognize and honor each of them every day, let us make them aware of how much we care. Let us NEVER FORGET THE FALLEN OF ANY WAR!!!! Let us never take for granted the country we live in and what it costs to live in it, FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!!!!!!!!!! Let us never forget those who are paying the ultimate price for our freedom. Today, I do not see honoring of these men and women enough HAVE WE ALL FORGOTTEN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
EVERY SINGLE DAY IS ANOTHER DAY THAT WE SHOULD BE HONORING AND REMEMBERING THESE LIVES THAT WERE LOST!!!!!!!
I completely agree, those who have died are not nearly honored or remembered enough
I also would like to help in remembering and honoring these brave and valiant men and women

"My name is Cameron Schilling. I am a college student from central Illinois. I am the first generation of my family not to serve his country. I am extremely grateful for the sacrifice you and your loved one has given for the United States. I am disappointed by the way the news media has covered this war and the deaths of our youth. The media has stopped listing the names of the soldiers killed in Iraq and people only talk about the soldiers when we reach a specific milestone in deaths. If you just started watching the news today you would not even know there is a war going on. Partisan politics have replaced coverage of our young generation who have traveled to a foreign land in the name of the United States. Whether you believe the war in Iraq is wrong, right, justified or not everyone should pay even just a little more attention to what these young men and women are sacrificing. This is what I would like to do. I want to do my part in honoring these soldiers and their memories. Along with being a college student I am also a budding artist. I draw pencil portraits of local people in my community. I want to offer a pencil portrait sketch to the immediate family of every Illinois soldier killed in Iraq or Afghanistan. Please contact me at cameronschilling84@hotmail.com."

"In the comfort of our homes, we read of the horrors of this war, and say how can we express how we feel as Americans about the loss of the many son’s and daughter’s while they perform the highest call of sacrifice, to serve in the United States Military.
It should be comforting to say, “We are sorry, to their loved ones, for their loss”, but it goes beyond this, believe me. We are not just sorry for your loss, but are so very grateful to you, for serving, and providing the ultimate sacrifice, so that your country, the families, and people here can say with certainty, “We are safe, and we can go about our daily lives, knowing the Men and Women of our military are there to protect and serve with honor.” The Hero’s of today, shall be marked in history long after, with their fallen soldiers and remembered as our brothers and sisters, “Whom We are so Proud of. ”Thank you seems so little to offer in words,
but our hearts feel the depths in which you served.
In Memory of you, and with Condolences to your family,
Thank you, Bryant L. Davis,
for being a wonderful American, a Patriot and a Soldier who served for his Country.
