"Sgt Taylor,
You were a great friend to me. I remember when we used to do detail on ft. stewart cutting grass together and we'd always talk about how tough our wives were. I watched you come in the army as a brand new soldier a little bit after 141 returned from kosovo in november 2001. We served together in the invasion of iraq and i watched you pass right by me and pick up SGT you were dedicated and always motivated regardless of how much crap we had to deal with in Bravo. I still have your movie you lent me in iraq " all about the benjamins" When i heard you lossed your life on the second deployment to iraq it hurt so much. You were a great soldier and a great friend. Whenever i see fruit snacks i always think about when we use to clean our weapons in the bay and we'd be tearing up those fruitsnacks. I wish your wife and two kids the best of luck and many blessings. I Love you brother. R.I.P. you are the real HERO " MISSION ACCOMPLISHED""

I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. "Chris was one of the best friends I've ever had. He is one of my best friend from High School and I will never forget him. He could always make me laugh and he would be happy that he did. Chris was very easy to get along with and was a wonderful person to be around. I was very quiet to most people in high school but He really got to know me. I wasn't a quiet person to Chris. I knew him since around 6th grade at OMS. Every since then we been were good friends. I still miss him to this day and still find it hard to believe that he's really gone. Everytime I think of my high school memories I think about him. I know he's up in heaven now looking down on everyone and one day I'll see him again. My heart goes out to his wife Janina, the kids, and the rest of his family and I feel very blessed that I had the chance to know Chris and be friends with him."

"To the family and friends of Sgt.Christopher Taylor, words cannot express what I feel for you now. I know you must feel as if you are wandering in a fog. It is hard enough when you learn of a lost loved one but when the public has been forced to be involved in your grief, it can only multiply the unreality of it all. I really cannot leave my name due to location and orders but I served with your son and thought dearly of him. It may help you to know that on the holidays your photos were looked at very often. Sgt.Christopher Taylor was very proud of you and loved you and the even better thing is that he knew that was your feeling for him also. He did not pass away alone but with you in his heart and soul. Go now to that place of healing the way he wants you to. This very day he is resting with God and nomore does he hurt over the nonsense of this world. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff-they comfort me." Psalm 23:4. A Hero now takes his chair in Heaven and leaves this hate filled world behind. God Bless You in the days ahead. We are all your brothers and sisters in Christ." Lt.C.M.,usaf,"
