"Dan and family- I am a friend from the past of Dan's. I was so saddened to hear the great state of IA had lost a hero and so much more. I was living in ND at the time and recalled a few of the many times Dan had brought joy to so many people. It was the year 2000 at the Dallas County Fair and Dan just wandered up to our campsite and started making friends. When he walked up he didn't know anybody, but by the time he left that night he had made quite an impression with my family/friends and I. We kept in touch throughout the years and I just wanted to let you all know what a truly great person he was. Not only did he serve this country with great honor, he was genuinely a good man and will not be forgotten. Your family is frequently in our prayers and will continue to be! Thanks for everything!"

"I am just disgusted with myself for not writing you earlier. You meant alot to me growing up. We had some really good times...like playing soldiers around the silo at your mom's house with tommy. He hated us because we always ganged up on him. Think he'll ever forgive us??? Me neither lol... Anywho i just wanted to let you know that i think about you every day.... And i feel proud to say that i am very honored to have had such a heroic cousin. Love you brother and i will see ya when i get there..."

"I felt impelled to leave a message saying I'm sorry for your families treatment by the church in KS. I don't know what their intention was but it is certainly not a representation of Christ's love. Daniel Sesker is a hero and deserves to be treated like a hero. The only thing God hates is sin, He does not hate people. It is actions like theirs that gives true Christianity a black eye. Where is the love, the compassion, the respect that should have been shown? I hope the family can find it in their heart to fogive them. You will be in my prayers. God bless."
