"Thinking of you on this veterans day. You brought so much happiness and laughter to so many people. I still don't know why God had to take you away so soon. We miss you very much"

"Robert... it was so awesome to learn of the honor bestowed upon you by your fellow guardsmen in Bay St Louis... when they named the new Armory for you...
I was in tears listening to the reports of the good you did... but I knew you were a good person for all the chats we had as we drove in to work each day at the shipyard... I remember how you wanted nothing more than to go fight for your counrty OVER THERE rather than wait for the evil to come to our shores where your children lived...
And then it was Katrina who came ashore and destroyed your mom and the children's lives as they knew it and a lot of others folks as well...
God rest your soul... as I believe you are with Him in that place we all long to go... hold down the fort... we will be there in a little while...
Your ole bud Regie"

"THE FINAL INSPECTION
The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, you soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you soldier,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell.""

"I went to Camp Shelby for a few days... I visited with some of the guys that served with our husbands... It was a joyful time to get to hear some of the funny things they did while there... But also a sad day... We heard siren's and did not know what they were... But I turned around and saw 4 buses... Guys standing up all over it!!! And I saw the group of people that were standing there to greet there husbands... I just knew that our husbands would get off and surprise us... That the last 7 months had been a dream... But everyone met there families... and started to head in there own directions.... the buses left... and no one was still standing there... then it hit me... the last seven month were real... no matter how much I wanted to act like that they were coming home... it hit me... but as the guys said it... there battle is over.... and they have won... the guys still here are gonna keep going on and finish the batte that Ski & Lunsford had started...
Our husbands did not give there life in vain!!! We as Americans should never forget them because they are why we have our freedom!!!! They gave the ultimate sacrifice!!! And to them we owe our life! There is not a day that goes by that I don't Thank God for those guys. And I Thank you for allowing him to serve and give the ultimate sacrifice!!!
Just make sure, if ya'll have any children that they know what a hero is... It is not some kind of movie star on T.V. but "1st Lt. Robert C Oneto-Sikorski" & "Sgt. Audrey Daron Lunsford" are the true meaning of HERO's!!!!!
Thanks for all you gave!!! If you ever need anything, please fell free to contact me... Also, where the guys come into at Camp Shelby and meet there families... "Merry Christmas From Heaven
I still hear the songs
I still see the lights
I still feel your love
on cold wintery nights
I still share your hopes
and all of your cares
I'll even remind you
to please say your prayers
I just want to tell you
you still make me proud
You stand head and shoulders
above all the crowd
Keep trying each moment
to stay in His grace
I came here before you
to help set your place
You don't have to be
perfect all of the time
He forgives you the slip
If you continue the climb
To my family and friends
please be thankful today
I'm still close beside you
In a new special way
I love you all dearly
now don't shed a tear
Cause I'm spending my
Christmas with Jesus this year"

In Memory of Lt. Robert C. Oneto-Sikorski
Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.
