"Re: SGT Kelly Scott Morris

Hello,
I represent PRAYER SHAWLS 4 FALLEN SOLDIERS (PS4FS), an organization that since October 2007 has sent over 2,700 prayer shawls to military families who have lost a loved one. We are an organization of over 240 groups from all over the country. We make every effort to reach families even when post cards are returned after they have moved. Would you kindly send me a contact email/address so that we may send a loving hand-made prayer shawl to the family? Thank you!

"For Kelly:
I Still can not believe that you are truly gone.....I last saw you in 1999 at Sarah's graduation in Washington...well that was the last time we actually hung out. The last time i hugged you was at my graduation in 2001. I was there the day you were buried and drank the pain and night away with the fam and close friends the night before in your honor. I have gone to your graveside many a times to talk to you like I use to.....I miss you Kelly and I don't think I will ever get over your loss........I will see you again. You were like a brother to me and I thank you for all the wonderful times we had together(you, dennis, sarah and me). I love you forever for who you were and who you became.
For the Fam:
You are all in my thoughts and prayers and always will be. Thank you for bailing me out of trouble(uncle Bill) and for sharing Kelly with my family and with the world. He was a wonderful boy and became an extrodinary man because of all of you."

"The grief seems to never go away. Thoughts of what you should have said and wish you could have done different before this happend. Kelly, I knew you when you were little and knew when you were a teenager and I missed you as an adult. I watched you play soldier in the backyard with jerrrod and I watched you keep kojo away so I could get in the house, because somedays he liked me and others he didnt. I was with you as we nursed the butthead the squirrel. LIfe goes so fast and seems like memories go even faster and you try and try hold on so they don't go away. "We buried Kelly today, it was a day of trying not to be lost in grief but trying to remember why he died and that he died doing what he loved and what he believed in. Today at the funeral the General that was speaking there talked to everyone about heros, "Not only was he a leader in the U.S. Army, he was a hero. Heroes are not people who fly around in capes. A hero is someone who gives everything he has to everything he does day in and day out to help his fellow man. That was Kelly Morris."

"With him went the values, ethics, the attitude that made him one of the best - doing exactly what he wanted to do - be a soldier and he was. He received a soldier's salute today," said Gov. Dirk Kempthorne.
Everyone had a story to talk about and tell, all triggering new memories, or ones that we had thought that we had forgotten. He was great! ALways smiling and always trying to one up you!"
