"SPC Kathiria. Not a single memorial day goes by without remembering that 22 of August. It was a hard day especially after we heard your name, because you were seen at the clinic that morning. We heard the incoming rounds and the explosion at the dining facility entrance; those T-Walls were a death trap. We rushed and treated the injured and brought them to the clinic; but we did not expect any fallen; it aches my heart that it was you and I wish you could have stayed at the clinic that morning for quarters. Every day that I have served in this Army after that day, I have served in your honor and on behalf everyone else I've lost that couldn't. Many years have passed, but your name will not be forgotten."

"SPC Kathiria,
If I could go back in time I would take your hand, sharde your eyes from the sun, and tell you it is all going to be okay. The pain of this life is over and you are free. I'm so sorry I didn't.
You are forever a part of me."
