"To Dillon's family. I did not know Dillon well but he was a friend of my sons. I remember the day I heard the news. I saw the announcement on the news and my heart was broken for you and your family. I want you to know that I still think of him and of you. I will not forget him or the sacrifice he and you all have made. You are in my thoughts and prayers."

"To the Family of Dillon Jutras:

I just found out today about Dillon, over 3 years after he gave the ultimate sacrfice. I was Dillon's 6th grade teacher at Ft. Bragg, NC. I remember the bright blonde haired boy who graced my classroom with a smile everyday. I am so sorry for your loss. I am so proud to have had the honor of knowing and teaching a true American HERO!!! God Bless!"

"To the family of Dillon M. Jutras,
I was fortunate enough to spend some time with Dillon prior to and during the indoctrination phase. He was always first to lend a hand and very motivated in his own quiet sort of way. I've worn his rememberance bracelet for over two years and he constantly reminds me of what a Ranger is and what we have to stand for. He will always be an enduring reminder of the standards we all must uphold. He will be missed."

"To Heather, Mr and Mrs Jutras,
I played soccer at Hoke with Dillon, I also held the colors at the Memorial Service. I talked to Heather but I didn't want to bother you, Mr and Mrs Jutras as in your memory of me probably isn't the fondest. I just wanted to let you know that it broke my heart when I found out. I could have never seen Dillon again and would know that he was doing great things."

"To Dillon's Family,
We have never met but I feel I know you as you were so kind to our son, Thomas Kasulke at his basic training graduation. We were unable to be there and you took him on as your own that day.We never thanked you for your kindness so please know how much we appreciated your simple act of including him. I cannot express the profound sadness the news of your son's passing brought to our family.May you find comfort in knowing that others share your sorrow and will remember Dillon and you always in prayer. Sincerely,

"To Pierre,Julia, Heather, Dustin and Hunter

I am saddened today to learn of Dillon's death. No words can express your sorrow. I can only remember Dillon when he was 11 playing on the Fay. Force. I have a picture of him with the team on my desk still when we won the tournament in Wilmington. It was DIllon's serve to Jamie that won the championship game that won the tournament for us. That was a fun time. Please accept my prayers for Dillon and your family.

"Dillon I can't believe you are no longer with us. You served your country and you made the ultimate sacrifies for our nations freedom. I still have months left on my deployment here in Iraq and I promise you I will finish it out for the both of us. I remember if it was just yesterday when we where together at soccer practice and at games. You where brough up to varsity and you did your part n you showed everyone on the field you could play and helped us win and even go to regionals. You where there threw thriump and defeat in that locker room. You are a great soldier, an elite Ranger always leading the way but mostly I will remember you as a great friend I had. You are my hero. I printed a picture of you and put inside of my kevlar so everytime I go out on patrol or convoy I know you there next to me."
Sgt Escobar of Alexandria
