"So, I had a hard time when I got home. Nothing went right. I couldn't stop dreaming about Iraq. I reached a point where I honestly didn't like to sleep anymore. The dreams were pretty bad, I pulled some duty that people just dont like to think about. Then one night, I dreamt you were working with me at the refineries which were home to me. We worked all night and laughed as we did our task. Then, when it was time for our shift to end, I realized I was just dreaming and felt terribly sad. You told me not to worry. You said you knew it was only a dream but you wanted to know how I lived and were glad for the chance to check it out. You told me that it was OK and I could sleep again. I thank you for releasing me my friend. I have slept quietly through the night ever since. I miss you and I thank you."

"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com
