"Avery-Felder,
It's been over a decade since I last seen you. I hang your picture in my living room. I tell my son's about you. You were my room mate, a battle-buddy I could always turn to. I'm forever indebted to you. There is so much I want to say, but I hold it within my heart and I believe you have heard my cries. I talk to you from time to time. Mr. & Mrs. Avery, you raised a daughter with a beautiful soul. Thank you,Tyanna! Always & NEVER forgotten."

"I don't wanna forget you, I wont forget you. You still have my gortex jacket lol. I wonder sometimes all these years later would we have kept in touch would we still be friends you were married on your way to a new life, I wasn't able to steal cereal from you anymore lol. I still eat those little plastic bowls like you use to give me in exchange for my iron. People like you nobody remembers not your sacrifice not your life not everything you were and was striving to become! I won't forget you I promise I will try my best for you. God we were just kids-"

"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

"Re: SPC Tyanna S Felder

Hello,
I represent PRAYER SHAWLS 4 FALLEN SOLDIERS (PS4FS), an organization that since October 2007 has sent over 2,800 prayer shawls to military families who have lost a loved one. We are an organization of over 240 groups from all over the country. We make every effort to reach families even when post cards are returned after they have moved. Would you kindly send me a contact email/address so that we may send a loving hand-made prayer shawl to the family? Thank you!

"Tyanna Felder, I don't know where to start.... I think of you everyday, no matter what or where I am at, you run through my mind. I wish you were still here, we use to talk about everything, you were my big sister. When my best friend past away in Iraq, you were right by my side. I owe you everything. I'll be coing home soon from my deployment, and I'm coming to visit you, something I should have done a long time ago. I think I was afraid, your passing took a toll on me, I blamed myself, I blamed God, but in time I learned that he just wanted you closer to him. I'm coming to see you soon Tyanna, your brother in arms Ricky"

"It has been over a year now since Tyanna has passed and I still find myself thinking about her daily. Tyanna has a very special place in mine and my daughters heart. She had a special connection with children I remeber her telling me she wanted 10 kids some day. I would just laugh and tell her she could babysit Amber and she get over that real quick. She did watch Amber and she and my daughter got along so well.My daughter still asks me about Tyanna and why she had to die. I just tell her I don't know but knowing she is in heaven with our lord comforts us both. I pray everyday that things could have been different. I love you Felder."
