"On this Memorial Day, May 29, 2023 I honor you and the ultimate sacrifice you made for our freedom. I never knew you; but I ran across your name today while reading about fallen heroes, and wanted to say thank you. God Bless you and your family, and may the love you showed for this great country fill each and every heart of every American. 💙🇺🇸"

"To the family of Ernest W. Dallas Jr. - In July of 2007 my church, St. Monica Catholic Church in Dallas, had a special service for Fallen Soldiers. Each congregant was asked to select a slip of paper with a Fallen Soldier's name and to pray for that soldier and their family. I just want you to know that I've prayed for Earnest and for your family everyday since I selected that slip almost 7 years ago. I thank you for the sacrifice that Ernest and your family made almost 10 years ago and want you to know that I am grateful for his service and honored to continue to pray for him all these years later."

"WE MET ERNEST IN COLORADO SPRINGS BUT TO US HE WAS KNOWN AS DALLAS. THE TIME HE WAS HERE HE WAS THERE FOR US WHEN WE NEEDED SOMEONE. HE WAS ONE OF OUR CLOSE FRIENDS. HE MADE US LAUGH EVERY MINUTE WE WERE WITH HIM. HE BROUGHT OUR FROWNS TO SMILES AND FULFILLED THE DAY WITH HAPPINESS. HE WAS PRECIOUS TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF US IN EVERYWAY. IF IT WASN`T FOR HIS MOTHER AND FATHER WHO BROUGHT HIM IN TO THIS WORLD WE WOULD HAVE NEVER MET SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON LIKE DALLAS. WE JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW DALLAS WAS A BIG PART OF OUR LIVES AND HE WILL BE MISSED VERY MUCH. BUT NOW WE KNOW HES AT PEACE WITH GOD. MAY GOD BLESS THE FAMILY AND WE GIVE ALL OUR LOVE TO YOU. AND MAY GOD BLESS DALLAS AND KEEP HIM SAFE UP THERE."

"I hope you guys are finding peace in the honor of your brave son. We are so blessed to be part of such of loving family. As I think back to the reunion this year, I think about Uncle Bruce having us stand up and say the pledge; words I must say I probably took for granted. And after the service for Ernie these words have so much deeper meaning to me. You guys are in my heart and prayers. Charlene losing all our dads and some of us have lost our moms can not even come close to the loss you and your family is going through. Just know we love you and our so deeply sorry for your loss."
