"Cornbread,
You were a hell of a guy. I know we bumped heads a few times over there, but that is just part of it I guess. You were a fine leader and you took care of us. Everyday I wonder that if I hadnt been messed up, that would have been me in that truck instead of you. Its been 4 years, but I remember getting news like it was yesterday.
You would have been proud of the guys after everything happened. Also, I am so sorry for not coming to see you in the hospital, but I should have soldiered on and did it. We'll miss you guy, and you will never be forgotten! RIP Cornbread, RIP man..."

"I want to first of all say thank you to the people who are hosting this web site. Clinton was my uncle, but I always called him Uncle Bubba... I was just laying in bed thinking about how things have really changed in the past year and decided to check in the internet to see what kind of Memorials there were for him. Thank you to the people who left messages, and to the host again. I'm happy to know that there are people that still support our soldiers and their familys. My brother David joined the National Guard because Uncle Bubba was such a hero to us, you would just have to know him to understand how great of a guy he really was. Once again thank you."
