"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

"Re: SPC Tyler L Creamean

Hello,
I represent PRAYER SHAWLS 4 FALLEN SOLDIERS (PS4FS), an organization that since October 2007 has sent over 2,800 prayer shawls to military families who have lost a loved one. We are an organization of over 240 groups from all over the country. We make every effort to reach families even when post cards are returned after they have moved. Would you kindly send me a contact email/address so that we may send a loving hand-made prayer shawl to the family? Thank you!

"The last week of May 2005 in Lafayette, Indiana we erected the "Hoosier Healing Field". One flag for each fallen member of the Armed Forces was flown. On Memorial Day we were able to choose one flag to take home. There were as you know nearly 2,000 flags flying, it was a beautiful and sad site. We walked thru the field and chose one - it was Tyler's flag. We would like to send the flag and card to his loved ones if possible. Thank you for your sacrifice. Karen Devine 3304 Wales Ct. "Dear friends and family of Tyler
God gave me Tyler as a gift. A holy warrior to continue fighting for liberty and freedom from the other side. I will explain later. But whenever God gives me a soldier he/she is very special in God's eyes. And I am in the process of getting to know Tyler and what he wants to tell me."

"6/3/05 To the family of Spc. Creamean,
We know your profound sorrow and wish that we could offer you some solace in these difficult times. Freedom is not free - your son is truly a hero and has given his life for all of us - many who take their freedom for granted so much of the time. Tyler's bravery and willingness to serve will never be forgotten. Please know that there are so many of us now who share a kinship - those who have lost sons and daughters in war - and you are in our prayers every day. May God give you strength and blessings.

"I've been leaving messages of condolence for many of our fallen heroes, but this time it hit very close to home. Tyler's grandmother Myrna and other relatives live in my hometown of Pontiac, IL. Tyler was one of those special young men--he felt the need to serve his country even in a time of war and served exceptionally well. His three Purple Hearts will forever be a reminder of this American hero. My adopted Marine has now arrived home safely from his Iraq tour, but will probably serve another tour there in his remaining two years. It very hard sitting back at home here and hoping day after day not to hear the news you dread. Let us never forget that these men and women--many very young--are what keeps America free and safe. May we always have those willing to serve. That is what will keep Tyler's memory in our hearts. May God bless you all while he continues to bless America."

"Dear Creampuff, Its absolutly stunning to me that someone so young would be in heaven now. SPC Sherman (Or ben to me) was in your company. He is devestated that you are gone. I am so sorry Misha. Words cant describe how sorry I am that he is now an angel. He is with Castro and Ayro though. Man, Ayro loved him didnt he? At least you two are together again now. Breax (Zach) came home the other day. He said you are with him. He has your card (you know what im talking about) and so many pictures of you. He hurts. We all hurt so bad. Tomorrow is your memorial on Post. A bunch of us are going to go. A few of your buddies on leave are trying to get there leave extended so they can go see your family. Man Creamean, please just be safe up there. Watch over our boys and bring the rest of them home safe okay? They need you more than ever right now. They need your strength. Anyways, you take care. We miss you and you will be in our hearts for the rest of our lives."
