"Nearly 11 years; sure doesn't seem that long. Had a chance to stop by the Memorial today while I was out on the road. Very moving tribute to the fallen of Citrus County. Was proud to salute you, my old friend and brother-in-law. We speak of you often and honor you for your ultimate sacrifice. God Bless you and your family. 9/2/15"

"Thank you all who continue to remember Dennis, he would be grateful for all the support shown to his family left behind. It's hard to believe it's been 8 years, but life does move on. The oldest son is a retired Marine with the two grand babies, second oldest is in the Army and the youngest two preparing for college!
Thank you again for all your support!"

"Wow Dennis, it is so very hard to believe that 7 years has just passed! It still feels like only yesterday. I miss you very much my friend. Sometimes I can still see your big tan work van pulling in the driveway. Still today you are loved and missed greatly by so many. As I come accross pictures that tell a story and reflect the memories of a great friendship, I wish for just one more day! One more day to hug you and tell you I love you. One more smile to see, one more laugh to make, one more day of you just showing up at the right time when you knew a friend needed you.You always were good about being in the right place at the right time. You just seem to know when you were needed. I love you Dennis, and I always will. I miss you Dennis and I forever will. My Friend you will always and forever be.. " Just One More Day".. If I could have anything in this world it would be Just One More Day!! Rest with the Angels and watch over us down here on earth. Love and miss you my friend. Thank you and Love Always Angela"

"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. "As time goes by we all get on with our lives. Dennis was such a big part of my life as well as others he touched in his time on this earth. Memorial Day 2007 signifies a point where I can move forward. I am looking to the future with much hope and optimism. I know in my heart Dennis wouldn't want me to mourn indefinitely.
I know the people who were important to him in the past are still those important today. God Bless you all and thank you for sticking by me these last few years.

"I had the honor of serving with Dennis in Kuwait. We both worked the night shift for a while together. On his off nights he would come to the flight line & set up his karoke machine, & play his drums to some really good music! It was something special to take everyone's mind off of where we were & how far away from our families we were. I think of Dennis often, everytime I look at my memorial bracelet our company had made for him. Thank you Dennis, it was a true pleasure knowing you. To his family, god bless you."

"I was one of the medics who first responded when Dennis fell that day. I think about him often and see his face in my mind. It helps me to think about him playing his drums on the flightline. He is probably still playing in heaven for the angels to enjoy...hope they like good ol rock music."
