"Nate, it is almost 10 years since you were taken from us. I still miss your laughter, dry wit and the ability to make everyone feel so good about themselves. I miss the penny wars in my house and was honored that you asked me to take you out for your 21st birthday. Who knew then that 2 short years later you would be gone. I hope your wife and son are doing well. You will never be forgotten by me or any of the others who knew and loved you."

"I went to school with Nate. He was a great friend and a good listener. He was a person you could go to for anything. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back. I was deeply devistated when I heard of his tragedy and sadly I was unable to attend his funeral. I know he is now safe in Heaven. I pray for his wife and I'm sorry his son won't be able to see the incredible man that his father was but I do hope his family will continue his legacy."
