"A.J..... I dunno what to say man. I wish I had extended my contact, like you asked me, to go out there with you and who knows, maybe you would still be here today. You were one of my best friends while I was in the Corps and I still think about you all the time man! I've gone to your grave and had a few beers a couple of times. I'm planning on going out there this year (sometime in the next coupe of months) and trying to get a hold of your parents, so I can give them copies of all the pictures I have of you. I'm sure they would like that. Rest in peace good friend. I'll see you again one day on the other side!!!

"I was the USMC SNOIC of Cpl. Aguilar during an operation in Haditha, Iraq during 2006. I wish to express to his mother how proud I was of him as my radio man. I only knew him for two weeks but your son was proud of being a Marine and a exceptional radioman. I say prayers for you and him daily. I miss his smile, the bright sparkle in his eye and the moment we shared an MRE. His humility brought sanity to a difficult situation."

OH AND THE TIME WHEN WE GOT INTO THAT LIL ACCIDENT ON THE WAY TO THE CLUB AND HAD TO DRIVE BACK WITH A BENT RIM AND A HEADLIGHT LIGHTING UP THE TREES. I only wish that I had had the opportunity to tell him all of this and to tell him that he was loved. We truly miss him, Carmen and S.K. Ernest Arredondo and family"

He would be so proud if he could see the great things that have happened in his name. He loved doing what he did and protecting his country. God Bless all of you...hearing words of love and support make each day a little easier to get through.
