"James,

I'm deeply touched by the kindness you showed others. Hearing stories about how you left gifts for your family before you passed away are truly inspiring. Telling your father that you grew up poor but never felt poor because of him taking you to the beach and library daily is also very touching. You died a true man's man and lived with a heart of gold. I write this around memorial day 2013. This many years after your passing you are still remembered."
