"Not a day that goes by when I don't think about him. He was truly one of the best NCO's I served with. He was a very humble man who very rarely got upset about something. He walked around with a smile on his face everyday. RIP SSG Thomas aka GUNNY"
Brian Williams of Wilsonville, OR

"Not a day goes by that I don't think about you Gunny. My greatest regret in life is that I was unable to bring you home. I will never know if I could have done more, but I will always think that I should have. You will forever be the "best" person I have had the honor to meet. Better days to you, Brother."

"I knew SSG Thomas in Bamberg, Germany, and he was an E5 section chief in B/1-6 FA. He was a great professional, an exceptional human being, and was exceedingly considerate and gracious. Always smiling, I have great memories and will always remember the "good" things, as I can think of nothing "bad" about this particular hero. I'll always remember you as a great leader and great example of how we should live our lives.

I have some good video that includes KT from Bosnia if anyone in the family would like to have a copy, check the internet phonebook under my name and town and you are welcome to contact me."
