"Puello-Coronado Family

I did not have the opportunity to know SSG Puello-Coronado personally, yet he and all of you have been with me for over 13 years and will be for the rest of my life. When a child answered the door late one Sunday night, it changed my life forever. I saw in an instance the price we pay for our freedom as a care package lay on the dining room table waiting to be sent. Please know he and his fellow soldiers are appreciated and will never be forgotten. With all my respect and humility, your personal loss and sacrifice will always be remembered and never taken for granted. God Bless all of you."

I visit his grave every month with my mom [ his sister ). i miss my uncle ALOT. i pray to him everyday. my mom constantly tells me stories of him when he was little. how he was in love with star wars. my sister was born a couple of years after his death so he was not able to see her. but that doesnt mean that we do not speak about him to her. she comes along with us when we make our visit. she kisses his grave stone and folds her hands to pray. she is only 4 years old. well anyway the stories make me laugh and think back to when he was still here. anyway i love you tio. i will never forget you. ever! your niece Ariana"

""For those of us who pass away,
let us not keep in sorrow.
For those who were with us yesterday, will surely be here tomorrow.
Not in the flesh, not in the blood
but in our hearts filled with great love.
For just right above them
is the love of our God,
in the form of a snowy white dove.
Puello, I miss you!"

My memories of him is of being a kind and funny person in love with life, and already with visions of being in the military. "puello
i stumbled across this website and found you, its amazing that even after the passing of time im still at a loss for words. not a day goes by that i dont think of you, your family, and the guys, i have a picture of the squad on my wall, i look at it and i always find myself smiling, remembering how you were teaching me all the "bad" spanish words, then i remember "mr? ice you want ice?" from the locals and us laughing and chasing the kids away from the checkpoint then by then im crying, from both saddness and pride that i was privilage by god to know someone like you, i have not contacted your family, because im still having trouble getting past that day!(ive pretty much become a shut-in), but to you i swear that when i do, they will be the first ones i see, and i can only pray they understand my reasonings for the delay, i know i will see you again my friend, but until then know that you are always in my heart, and remember how we always played tricks on cheribinni!"

"In Loving Memory..Its been a year..

At the rising of the sun and at its going down, We remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of Winter, We remember them.
At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of Spring, We remember them.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of Summer, We remember them.
At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn, We remember them.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends, We remember them.
As long as we live, they too will live;
for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.
Rest in Peace Dear Soldier!!! We will NEVER FORGET!"

I am very blessed to have both my husband and son home safely after serving 15 months supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. I have given my son this flag for him to proudly fly in honor and memory of your soldier in the years to come. "Military Police Corps Regimental Prayer
By Chaplain Michael Yarman

Heavenly Father - We approach You today because You have called us to be a people of prayer.

We praise You because You are our Creator, our Redeemer and our Provider.

We acknowledge our great need for You as we fulfill our mission as soldiers.

We have been called to serve our nation as Military Police and we are proud of the honored heritage of the Regiment and our motto: Of the Troops and For the Troops.

Whether we are fighting an enemy, securing as area, patrolling the streets, or helping someone in distress, help us, O Lord, to always be men and women of integrity who can be counted on to do the right thing.

Give us the strength to stand for what is right and to oppose those who would do harm to our nation and the people we serve.

May we always be truthful in Word, Deed and Signature, and bring honor through our service to the memory of those in the Regiment who gave the supreme sacrifice for their country.

Guide us now, Father, by giving us wisdom and knowledge from on high, that as Military Police we will always be prepared to Assist, Protect and Defend."
