"Harris was a good guy and he was in my company and in my wife's platoon. My truck was one truck behind his and i was one of the ones trying our hardest to pull him out of the truck. I just wish your platoon sergeant would of listen to you when you told her you did not want to drive and that you had no military license to drive. maybe you would be with your family today!"

"I never want to forget the sacrifices of so many young men and women. I am so proud it makes me cry. I understand in theory only that war is a part of human nature but so is love and caring. I wish I could take the families pain away but I can't. I am committed to loving ALL people, myself and our environment. I am committed to working on my happiness everyday because so many have died for my freedom to live my life. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. All my love and respect. ogersteiner@yahoo.com

"Leroy sometimes i ask myself if i prayed a little longer will God have let you survive..If i prayed a little harder would god have let you open your eyes..maybe if i had enough faith to move a mountain would he have let your body arise..
I was waiting for you to comeback home..i guess we cant all get what we want in life!
DONT TELL ME ITS ALL RIGHT
They say I'll be alright
They say I'll be ok
But dont tell me I'll be fine
When my brothers not here today
They say things will get better
They say I will survive
But its hard waking up everyday
Knowing my brothers not alive
I will smile cause I have to
I'll smile cause I must move on
But its difficult taking steps
Knowing my brother is gone
And I may look like im happy
But my happiness is just pretend
Cause how can I continue living
When I've lost my best friend
So dont tell me he's in heaven
Or that hes in a better place
When a better place is here with us
Filling this empty space
And dont tell me it was destiny
Or that he's gone for a reason
When the real reason hes gone is because
This world is full of demons
And dont tell me he died as a man
When he was only twenty years old
Because he died as a young boy
Trying to be bold
And dont tell he'll be smiling down from heaven
When you know tears is all he drops
Because he cant console his family
Because we're here and he's not
And dont tell me its possible to live with out him
If it is
Then tell me how
And dont tell me he'll always be with me
When he's not by my side now
So dont tell me its alright
And dont tell me I'll be fine
When im sitting here crying
Completely losing my mind
So if one day I was to be happy again
It will never be complete
Until that day I'll see my brother again
So until judgment day we will meet.
REST IN PEACE LEROY
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN BRO
LOVE YOUR SISTER"
