"I'm sorry I wasn't able to watch out for him more. I don't know if he ever told you about me or talked about me to you Ms. Valadez, but he always called me his "cunyó" I think is how you spell it. But he told me it meant brother in-law. I know you already know. But he loves you and his little brother so much. He talked about y'all all the time. Me and him spent every single day together after he got to ft. Stewart. He loved you and his little brother so much. I miss him everyday and think about him everyday. The only thing I have is a few pictures of him. His picture will always hang on my wall and I won't ever forget him. I owe him and you that honor. Again I'm sorry, I tried to watch out for him and have his back as much as I could. I don't know if you or his brother will ever read this. But just know there is more than just y'all that miss him. He was as close to brother as I've ever had."
