"First, let me say that I feel truly sad about your loss and it touches my heart till this day. It's been over one year since I first was informed of the losses we've had on July 8th. My husband was also there that day and it was a miracle he's made it out alive. I wish I could turn back time, but I can't. We are facing another term. The only thing I would like is to have personal contact with the families who have lost a loved one. There is so much to say, so many things I want to let them know about - like the Memorial we've put up for them here in Schweinfurt, the plenty of cards family members want to share with you. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are ready to receive them. Your loved ones will NEVER be forgotten, Never! I PROMISE! missmybaby_2000@yahoo.com"

"There are no amount of words to express how much Joe (Joemomma) will be missed and always be loved. It is always hard to lose someone and even harder when it is your child. But with family, friends, and love it helps the hurt. Joe had very little time here with us, but he did more in his time than most people his age will ever do. He was a great friend and he became our hero. Always remember the time we had with him. Whether it was sad and you cried with him or angry and you yelled with him. But especially remember the times he brought a smile to your face and made you laugh. I will always remember camping with him. Looking from my camper to his to see if he was there yet. I will always remember the fun times as kids and remember him growing into a man and fighting for our country. He will be greatly missed and loved forever. thank you Joe for being my friend."
Starr (Turnbull) Richmond of Molena, Georgia - USA

"Sometimes I do not think you realize what a difference someone makes in your life. The memories, the laughs, the tears. Joe (or Joemamma as many know him) was an amazing person. He was a friend to many people. I am very blessed to of had him touch my life as a friend. Some of my favorite memories of him are at camp, when we were still young, very young. At that age we had no clue we were going to be soliders, teachers, doctors...but a lot of us make a difference in every day life. Joe make more of a difference than a lot of us ever could. He gave his life for his country, for us. THANK YOU"
Leaha of Ft. Myers, FL USA
