"It takes someone exceptional to serve in the Corps today but it also takes someone equally special to raise a young man with those stand-up qualities to proudly wear the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. Ms. Conboy you undoubtedly raised your son well for which you should be very proud. You raised him with the right set of values and for that you should be commended. I extend to you and your family my sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies for you loss. May God bless your dear son Adam and may he live on in our hearts and minds forever. Semper Fi;"

"Adam Conboy, Proud Marine brother and defender of our Nation...Semper Fidelis, and God Bless You. We will never forget your sacrifice, and you will live forever in our Hearts and in the collective Soul of a Grateful Nation. That you loved us, and our Country, enough to become a United States Marine in time of conflict, that your life was lost in Service to each of us, and in Service to our Country, speaks forever of the goodness, the greatness, that was in you.
Thank you, Marine,my fellow American...There are not words to tell how proud of you I am. May God Speed and keep you always, and may He comfort your family and friends who miss you so dearly."

"My son a Former Marine was stationed at Kaneohe Bay during 9/11. He was due out the following year and wanted to relist. I begged him not to, he felt my pain and did not reinlist. He probably would have been to Iraq already and maybe he would not have made it (only God knows). My daughter is now serving her country as her brother did. My heart aches for the parents that have lost their daughters and sons. No words can describe how proud our country is of Adam and all the rest of our service men and women that gave the ultimate sacrificed for their country. They are our true heros."
O. Vega of Dallas, Texas/USA
