"Clearys throughout the world pay quiet tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of
Michael today his anniversary.
Over the centuries many of our finest sons have given their lives to defend
the Constitution which remains our principal hope for a civilised world. He is remembered with great affection by those who knew him personally and with admiration among those who like me sadly did not."

"I served with Lt. in Iraq. We worked side by side for months on end and had a bond that only war could build. Now three years later I still miss him. I just want the Cleary family to know that he hasnt been forgotten. He is still an inspiration to me. GOD SPEED"

"Michael, may you rest in the total love and peace of God.
To the entire Cleary family, our deepest sympathies and prayers are with you. Michael will forever be remembered in our prayers. We learned of his sacrifice from the Hamilton Alumni Magazine. We are presently assigned to Walter Reed Army Medical Center. My wife, MAJ Bryony Soltis and I were both deployed from September 2003-July 2004 with the 1st and 4th Brigades of the First Armored Division. Our hearts break every time we learn of more soldiers who have sacrificed all for us. Keep Michael's spirit alive. Take pride in Michael's incomprehensible sacrifice. We are humbled at the magnitude of your loss. May God bless you all.
Peace""
