"My best friend, who has now been gone nearly 25 months still whispers to me in my dreams. I just remeber not believing he was gone after talking to my Scotty just over 24 hours before I got the news. It was like " he can't be gone, I just talked to him." But...he was, at least from this world. Now he is with Jesus. Forever in my heart! I loved Scott with my whole heart, after being the best of friends for more than three years, and writing music with eachother...my brother, my friend, my confidant had gone away. The wound will never completely close. I love you brother, I will see you soon...and I believe I owe you that hug you were wanting ;) !!!"

"I am in debt to CPL Banhold. He replaced me as the Major's driver. I was selected for the position just before our unit deployed and then I was placed on permanent profile and was unable to go foward with the unit to Iraq. CPL Banhold was placed in the position because I was unable to deploy. I am forever in his debt. It should have been me that payed the ultimate sacrifice, not him. I offer my condolances to his family and my apology. He was an outstanding soldier and he will never be forgotten."
SGT Robb, Joseph A. of Charlotte, MI
