"I flew with Mark while serving in Charlie Company, 5th Battalion, 101st Aviation, to include Somalia. Mark was a gracious and humble man who was always pleasant to be around. A tragic loss for the world, but what a marvelous gain for God!
Mark, as an aviator for the Lord, keep the greasy side down and the medals out of your face!
May God bless his family; may God bless our military; and may God bless the U.S.A.!!!"

"I grew up down the street from Mark in Ozark, Alabama and as long as I knew him, he never went half-way with anything. He couldn't be just a pilot, he had to go SOAR. It's just his way to go all the way for his crew and his country. He has always been Elite."
