28, of Irmo, South Carolina.
Weimortz died from injuries suffered while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on August 26, 2006.
