Jenkins died in Balad, Iraq of injuries sustained when he came in contact with enemy forces using small arms fire during combat operations in Baghdad, Iraq. Jenkins was assigned to the Army's 3rd Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on August 12, 2006.

I knew him then but wasnt in the army with him. I am pround that he had someone watching his back just as he had yours. Thank you for your sacrafice.
